KSC Water Winner: Claire Dworsky

Claire works with Adina Paytan, University of California Santa Cruz oceanographer to sample and test runoff water from grass and artificial turf soccer fields. Claire's study coincides with a heated debate in her community about the safety and utility of grass vs turf fields. Claire's findings with help the debate as her's is the largest scientific study of its kind.
