As he learned to put one foot in front of the other as a toddler, Taylor Brown received encouragement to do other things. For example, his father Dan took the liberty of placing a soccer ball at his feet, giving Taylor, his first of three children, a better chance at playing the game naturally.

Miller Rebels fell to the Yucaipa Thunderbirds, 3-1, in Citrus Belt League boys’ soccer last week.
